Arthro-Aid®
Gold ™
What is
it?
Arthro-Aid® Gold ™ Helps Relieve Arthritic Pain and Increase Joint Mobility.
Arthro-Aid® Gold ™ contains a combination of glucosamine hydrochloride 500mg and
chondroitin sulphate 400mg (bovine sodium). Both glucosamine and chondroitin are
natural substances found in the body that are the building blocks for healthy
cartilage. Glucosamine and chondroitin work in complementary ways to keep
cartilage healthy.
Clinical studies in people with osteoarthritis show that a combination of
glucosamine and chondroitin works better than either ingredient alone and can
keep joint tissue healthy.
Arthro-Aid® Gold ™ capsules are recommended to help relieve arthritic pain and
also assist with increasing joint mobility. This special formula has been
developed as a result of clinical studies to assist in pain relief and increase
joint mobility associated with arthritis.
What is in it?
500mg glucosamine hydrochloride per capsule
400mg Chondroitin Sulphate (bovine sodium)
Precautions, Contraindications and
Side Effects
The are
currently no known side effects. People who are allergic to seafood should NOT
take Arthro-Aid® Gold™. Arthro-Aid® Gold ™ capsules have not been tested on

Maintain Healthy Joints
What is Arthritis?
Common osteoarthritis can result from an imbalance between the
rate of production and the rate of loss of critical joint lubricants and shock absorbers
that permit our joints to perform their normal flexing and weight-bearing functions. The
body's basic starting material for the production of these natural lubricants and shock
absorbers is the aminosugar, GLUCOSAMINE.
How Does
Joint
Degeneration Occur?
With the passage of time and physical abuse, joint tissue can lose its capability to
produce adequate levels of GLUCOSAMINE and the necessary cartilage replacement components
derived from it. As a result, cartilage loses some of its critical ability to act as a
shock absorber and supply lubricant. This manifests itself as common joint ache and
stiffness which can then evolve into severely restricted movement and serious pain. In the
past, treatment has been:
- ASPIRIN
- PARACETAMOL
- IBUPROFEN
- NAPROXEN SODIUM
and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). These
agents only treat the pain. Not the cause. Long term NSAID usage reportedly can hasten the
deterioration of cartilage, lose effectiveness as a pain reliever, and cause
gastrointestinal problems.
The use of ARTHRO-AID as a dietary supplement is designed to
increase the body's natural supply of GLUCOSAMINE in order to stimulate the production of
sufficient quantities of cartilage replacement components and re-supply joint fluid.
GLUCOSAMINE SUPPLEMENTATION
In support of the above, scientific studies on oral
GLUCOSAMINE supplementation clearly indicate the following:
- 95% absorption
- 30% retention by the body
- 170% more joint component production
Simply stated, ARTHRO-AID is readily absorbed by the
body from the gastrointestinal tract, retained in more than sufficient quantity, and used
to produce more of what is needed by overworked and abused joints.
Beginning in the early 1980's and extending into, the
1990's, nine clinical investigations of the effects of GLUCOSAMINE as a therapy for
osteoarthritis were performed. The studies involved more than 1,500 patients suffering
from osteoarthritis. After four weeks of ingesting 1.5 grams (1500mg) of GLUCOSAMINE
daily, the results were overwhelmingly positive.
In all of the published clinical studies ARTHRO-AID
was consistently shown to:
- Relieve pain in 3-4 weeks
- Restore joint flexibility
- Treat the cause - not just the pain
In one clinical study of specific interest,
ARTHRO-AID significantly outperformed ibuprofen with respect to reducing pain in patients
suffering from degenerative joint disease of the knee.
