BioLogic^® Bladder Tone

(Formally known as BioLogic Incontinence Relief) Until now, treatment for incontinence sufferers has been limited to prescription medicines, surgical treatments and continence pads and appliances. BioLogic Health Solutions have now developed two herbal products to assist in reducing the embarrassing symptoms of incontinence and poor bladder control.

The formula in BioLogic™ Bladder Tone contains the Western herb, Horsetail, traditionally used to relieve the symptoms of urinary incontinence and the Ayurvedic herb, Crateva which assists bladder tone, with minerals to assist nerve transmission.

Horsetail is a mild diuretic herb with astringent and soothing effects on urinary mucosa. The effects of horsetail in assisting incontinence and frequency of urination may result from its antispasmodic action, which helps to soothe an irritated bladder sphincter.

Crateva nurvala has been used for many centuries to maintain bladder health. It has tonic effects on the bladder and assists symptoms of poor bladder tone as well as having been shown to decrease residual urine volume.

The addition of the celloid minerals, magnesium phosphate and calcium phosphate support the use of the above herbs by assisting with nerve transmissions.

The dosage used in BioLogic™ Bladder Tone matches the dosage used in traditional herbal medicine for the treatment of incontinence.

Take two tablets twice daily with meals, until symptom relief is apparent. Allow 4 - 6 weeks to achieve best results, after which a lower maintenance dose of two tablets daily may be adequate.

d-alpha-tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E) 5mg
